The unique PLD – Putting Lab Design – offers market-leading innovation for enhanced stability, feel and forgiveness. Each new PING PLD putter is fully milled from 303 forged stainless steel. The Aggressive Milling Pattern (AMP) of the new face-milling design face features deep-milled grooves that reduce the amount of metal on the putter face in contact with the ball at impact. The result is a softer feel, optimised sound and consistent roll.

Favoured by the likes of Bubba Watson, the Ping PLD Anser 2 Putter has a slightly longer blade length than the standard PLD Anser, and its body gives the impression of straighter edges and a less curved bumper shaping. The addition of a centre sightline helps alignment in setting up squarely to the target and to show the ball is sitting in front of the centre of the face. The PLD Anser 2 is ideal for slight arc strokes and players who like to feel they release the putter through impact.
